Extent of Data Collection and Data Use

Basically, visiting and using our website is possible without prior registration. When visiting our website, anonymised data (such as URL, IP address, date and time of access) will be stored. These data will only be evaluated for statistical reasons and to improve our website. There will be no matching or junction of these data with other data sources.

Only in case of personal data (e.g. name, address, other registration data) being communicated and/or transmitted, for example for the purpose of contact requests, applications or registration for login, we shall process and use these data for the applicable purpose. The data transmitted will be treated confidentially and will be used in compliance with the applicable data protection rules (especially German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) and Telemedia Law (Telemedienrecht)).

Consent to Data Use and Cancellation Option

Transmission of personal or business data on the part of the user takes place on a voluntary basis. With the transmission of the data, the user expressly agrees and declares consent to the collection, processing and use of personal data as mentioned above. This consent to the processing and use of data may be cancelled by the respective user at any time either in written form or by sending an e-mail to it[at]bme-law.de. In case of cancellation, the processing and use of data will be suspended in the future.

Forwarding of Personal Data to Third Parties

Personal data will not be forwarded to third parties unless the user has expressed consent to such transmission, transmission is necessary in the fulfilment of contractual duties or we have received an administrative or court order according to which we are obligated to transmit the data.
